“NURTuRE”

Part of the work Kidney Research UK does is getting more people into brilliant clinical trials and research programs. One of these was called NURTuRE. Yeah, it’s a bit of a mouthful the “National Unified Renal Translational Research Enterprise” to be sure, but what it is, is a biobank. Somewhere to store, catalogue and access biological samples. The tremendous effort that went into the NURTuRE program, to get people to give urine and biopsy samples, now lets scientists around the world make use of that data. And that helps to end kidney disease.

My job while at Kidney Research UK was to help tell the lovely people who had handed over their wee and bits of kidney what happened next! So, I teamed up with a brilliant animator and designer called Sean over at Prawnimation, to make a video. Short and to the point. I reckon it looks rather gorgeous. I worked super close with Sean to create a storyboard that he and his team could actually make sense of. Copywriting, video direction and a bit of design. A lot of fun, actually!
